Karen Sullivan (Medlon) ObituaryKaren Medlon Sullivan, age 78, of Washington Township, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 18, 2025. Born in Pompton Lakes, she had resided in Morris Plains before moving to Washinton Township 2 years ago. Karen worked as a teacher in Kinnelon for many years before leaving education to raise her children. She later went on to work for Integrated before retiring. She was an incredible artist, with a deep love for creating pieces that reflected her spirit and imagination. But more than anything, her greatest joy was found in the time she spent with her granddaughters
She is predeceased by her husband Gerry in 2019.
Surviving are her children Sean Sullivan and his wife Jaime, Shannon Sullivan, her granddaughters Kaleigh, Khloe, and Liliana, and her mother Norma Medlon.
Calling hours at the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, 15 Cherry Lane in Parlin will be Friday from 3pm to 5pm.
A private cremation will follow.
