Born October 13, 1953 in the United Kingdom, she was the daughter of John F. and Yvonne D. (Basham) Bailey.
Karen was born and grew up in Evesham, a small town in Worcestershire, England. After High School, she joined the BBC and held a number of secretarial posts. In 1982, she moved to the USA, initially to Florida, before relocating to Massachusetts, and finally to New Hampshire. For many years she worked at Edward Jones Investments in Stratham, where she was a popular and conscientious employee. After retirement she endured increasing health problems, but kept in touch with family in England and the USA. She is survived by her son Jeremy and her brother John.

So deeply saddened to hear of Karen´s passing. I had left a message recently to check in on her and had not heard back and was concerned. We worked together in Miami and have been back in contact over recent years. Karen was a joy to have known- we shared many happy memories and relived them during our talks. She spoke of her son & brother often and how much she appreciated their love & care. She often spoke of her love for pets & how much she loved flowers & looking at the gardens. I am sure she is at peace now and out of pain in the arms of the angels.
My heart goes out to all that loved her.
She was a very special & caring person.
