With heavy hearts, we honor and remember Karyn Cain, who passed away unexpectedly at home on October 14, 2024. Karyn, 56, was born on March 4, 1968, and led a full life. She was a great teacher, who taught at both Warren Mott and Macomb Community College for several years. She was also involved in Science Olympiad, keeping Science fun for students. She had planned to retire this summer.
Outside of work, Karyn enjoyed her life. She gardened and scrapbooked, and got to travel the world. Especially when she could do so on her Harley motorcycle, camping and biking with her local HOG chapter. She volunteered her time with her son Mark's Scout troops, and the Scleroderma Foundation.
She was predeceased by her Father, Jerry Schoof. She is survived by her Husband John, whom she was happily married to for 13 years; her children Ariana, Mark, Evan, and Lucas; her mother Nancy; her sister Dianne, as well as an extensive family of in-laws, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Not to mention her friends, colleagues, and students.
A memorial will be held for Karyn Saturday, October 19th, at Maniaci's Banquet Center, at 12:30pm. The address is 69227 Main Street, Richmond, Michigan 48062.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you donate to the I Heart Dogs Rescue in Warren.
