Kate Jones joined her son Ace Jones in heaven on Wednesday, March 26, 2025. She was born on June 21, 1980, in Tacoma, Washington and graduated from Fort Walton Beach High School. She lived in Okaloosa County for most of her life. She is survived by her husband, Joshua Jones, daughter Shelby Allen and future son-in-law Trent Glass, sons Gunner Allen and Luke Jones. She is also survived by her mother Debbie Nichols and sister Jessica Allen, husband Joshua Allen and nephews Hunter and Gage Allen. Father, Jimmy Nichols and wife. Father-in-law and mother-in-law Morris and Belinda Jones. Sister-in-law Shanna Suggs, husband Michael Suggs and nieces LaurieAnn and Katherine Suggs. Kate also leaves behind numerous relatives and friends. Kate was known by many in the community because of her extensive career in the automotive field and through her passion for planning weddings.
A time of visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 9, 2025 from 12:00-1:00pm at Whitehurst-Powell Funeral Home with the funeral service starting at 1:00pm.
