Katherine grew up in Coweta County and was a hairdresser for over 45 years in Newnan and Palmetto.

Survivors include children, Etoye Renee Parkman, David Mark Parkman, Michael Lesley Parkman, Frank Gaines Thomas Parkman; granddaughter, Brittain Claire Belyeu; great-grandchildren, Lita Shea Therrell, Liam Brittain Belyeu; and extended family.
