Katherine L. Wilcock, 64 of Sioux City passed away Saturday, December 6, 2025. Cremation will take place and private family burial will be held in California at a later date.
Katherine was the eldest sibling of five, born on October 16, 1961 in El Centro, California. She graduated from Gainesville High School in Florida and later completed her medical assistant degree at SDSU. Katherine married Jefferey “Jeff” Wilcock. They spent their lives in California raising their family together. Jeff passed away in 1991.
She was an avid reader. Nora Roberts and Stephen King were some of her favorite authors. She loved to listen to Metal/Rock music. She also just enjoyed being a grandma and hanging out with her grandchildren.
Katherine is survived by her children, Jonathan (SueEllen) Fennell, Jared Wilcock, and Kayla (Jakob) Hansen-Cayou; grandchildren, Sharla, Kamala and Sheadon Hansen-Cayou; siblings, Joey Fennell and Karen Fennell; aunts, uncles; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mom, Evelyn “Nanny” Fennell; husband, Jeff; and sisters, Kerri Fennell and Kamala Archuleta.
