Kathie Miller-Warren, 73, died July 6, 2024, at home.
Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Hopewell Baptist Church on Friday, July 12, 2024. followed by a funeral service at 11:00. Burial will follow at Hopewell Cemetery.
Kathie was born on September 3, 1950, in Rosedale MS, the daughter of the late Robert F. Miller and Mary Ruth Miller. Graduated from Benoit High School in 1968 and had 3 children. While working at Parchman State Penitentiary as an Admin, she met Kerry Lynn Warren whom she fell in love with while living in Drew MS. The 2 started Prime Time Concessions serving festivals across Mississippi and employing their children and grandchildren. She worked for the Mississippi DPS as a Driver's License Examiner in Cleveland, MS from 1998 till her retirement.
After retirement Kathie and Lynn moved to Gallman MS to escape those Mississippi Delta Mosquitos and were active members of Hopewell Baptist Church and enjoyed spreading the Gospel.
She is preceded in death by her Husband, Kerry Lynn Warren; her mother, Mary Ruth Miller; her son, Bobby Joe Lamb Sears; and her daughter, Katherine Danielle Lamb.
Survivors include her sister Marty Miller Pate, Corry PA; her brother Richard F. Miller of Estell Springs, TN; her son, Michael Phillip Lamb, his wife Lisa, and their children Linnea and Lydia of Reno, NV; Grandchildren Trey Sears and his wife Carlie, and their children Cooper and Kennedy Sears of GA; Renee Sears of GA; Ashley and Lauren Bridgman of FL; Caitlin Jones and her husband Cameron of Gallman MS; Michael Newman and his wife Kyleen, and their children Frances and Rory of MN; Andrene Glass her husband Wade, their children Alaina and Anthony III of MN; Lorenzo Newman and Isaiah Newman of Minnesota; Emma Hodge of Walker, LA.
