Kathleen Joan Baker, beloved wife of Raymond Baker, passed away on July 3rd after a four-year battle
with cancer. Kathy was born in Cincinnati, OH on September 29, 1949, to Charles and Marjorie
Creger. She graduated from Indian Hill High School and attended Vanderbilt University. She transferred
to the University of Cincinnati for a more robust history department, graduating in 1971 with a degree in
Medieval History. Shortly after graduating, she moved to San Francisco, California for 6 years. In 1977,
she moved back to Cincinnati, where she met Ray. They were married on July 1st, 1978, and had two

Chinese cooking classes at Pogues, Shillito's, Jungle Jim's, and Cooks Ware. Kathy invested the next 35
years serving a myriad of clients as a residential realtor. After she semi-retired, she instructed
numerous history classes at the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at the University of Cincinnati for more
than a decade. Kathy never failed to complete a Sudoku puzzle and remained an avid reader of historical
materials.

Ashley Carter (Travis) of Charleston, SC; and three grandchildren Wyatt, Christopher and Isabel of
Boston, MA. She is preceded in death by her parents Charles and Marjorie Creger.
