Kathie worked at the Threshold for over 40 years, retiring just a few years ago. She enjoyed spending summers at their camper in Shady Oaks Campground. While there she could often be found fishing and enjoying time with her family. Kathie also liked tent camping and hiking at many state parks here in Wisconsin.
She was a very creative person and loved doing crafts, especially painting, making wood ornaments and personalized greeting cards. During football season she was always cheering on her beloved Packers.
Kathie is survived by her husband of 47 years, Roger, 2 children: Andrea (Anders) Carlson of Shaker Heights, OH and Tanya (Beau) Oden of West Bend and 2 grandsons, Bryce and Oliver Carlson. She is further survived by her siblings: Donald (Kathy) Karl of Green Bay, Sue (John) Babcock of Lake Elmo, MN and Patricia Bentaalla of Appleton, her brothers and sisters-in-law: Karen Demmon of West Bend and Warren (Mary) Demmon of Oakfield, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Hubert and Jeanette Karl, her father and mother-in-law: Clifford and Dorothy Demmon and 2 brothers-in-law Mustapha Bentaalla and James Demmon.
Funeral services will be held Friday, December 15, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church with Rev. Jeff Hesse officiating. Burial will follow in Washington County Memorial Park. The family will greet visitors on Friday, at the church from 11:00 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials to The Threshold are appreciated.
