Kathleen Timmins Jameson of Folsom, LA completed her time on earth and was embraced in the loving arms of Jesus Christ on Monday, January 6, 2025. Kathleen was born to her jubilant parents Chris and Audrey (Aicklen) Timmins on February 5,1953, in New Orleans. Her curly strawberry-blonde hair was her most noticeable and attractive feature, followed closely by her beautiful eyes. She was raised in the old southern tradition and became a gracious and charming teenager. As a youngster, her passions were ballet and tennis – and she was quite accomplished at both, winning many awards and accolades in each avocation. Kathleen was a graduate of Mercy Academy, Class of 1971. Her collegiate years at LSU were highlighted by her pledging to Phi Mu Sorority and playing on the women's tennis team. After college, Kathleen distinguished herself by her stellar performance with Delta Airlines. She won many awards and promotions in their Reservations Division. Kathleen's penchant for travel blossomed into her main lifestyle. While employed by Delta, she and her colleagues traveled to four continents. Kathleen enjoyed entertaining and was an engaging hostess. She met the love of her life in 2010 and happily married Ed Jameson on June 21, 2011. They settled into a wonderful life in Folsom, LA. Kathleen was always eager for adventure including getting certified as a scuba diver. Together, Ed and Kathleen continued traveling internationally to Europe. They segued into motorhome travel, visiting many parts of America in what they fondly called "The Bus" for months at a time. Ed and Kathleen shared many pictures from their trips, always pointing out interesting animals and scenery. She loved hiking and nature walks. Kathleen is survived by her husband, Ed Jameson, his daughters Michelle Treme (Gehron) of Albuquerque, NM, and Melissa Ojeda (Jonathan) of Madisonville, LA, and grandchildren Ty Ojeda and Sam and Eliot Treme. She is also survived by her nephew, Chris Timmins (Christen) and grand-nephews James and Charlie Timmins, along with many dear friends. Though we will miss her dearly, her spirit will live in our hearts. A memorial service will be held on February 1, 2025, at St. Timothy on the Northshore Methodist Church, Mandeville LA. Visitation will be at 10:00 am followed by a service at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests donations in Kathleen's memory made to St. Timothy's Methodist Church on the Northshore.
