Kathleen D. Locher, 66 of Bethlehem, passed away Saturday, February 17, 2024 at St. Luke's Hospital-Fountain Hill. She was the wife of Michael J. Locher. Kathleen was born in Fountain Hill on April 16, 1957 to the late James E., Sr. and Anne M. (Hoch) Higgins. Kathleen's commitment to her career was evident in her 43 years of service at B. Braun Medical Inc., where she was a Detail Planner until her medical issues. Family was the cornerstone of Kathleen's life. She was a loving figure whose warmth radiated to each family member, especially to her granddaughter, who was the light of her life. Kathleen was a member of Saints Simon & Jude Catholic Church in Bethlehem.
Survivors: in addition to her husband of 39 years; children: Timothy M. Locher of Fogelsville, Lindsay N. (William E.) Brink of Bethlehem, Katie A. (Dawson K. Garcia) Locher of Bethlehem; siblings: James E., Jr. (Stephanie Fandl) Higgins of Bethlehem, Barbara (Glenn) Keiper of Bethlehem, Scott (Lois) Higgins of Charlotte, NC; granddaughter: Blake A. Brink. Predeceased by her sister: Bonnie LaBarre.
Service: Family and friends are invited to her visitation 9:00-11:00am Thursday, February 22, 2024 at the Connell Funeral Home, Inc., 245 East Broad Street, Bethlehem, follow by a Prayer Service at 11am. The inurnment will be held at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem. Online condolences may be offered at connellfuneral.com.
Contributions: in lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Animals in Distress, P.O. Box 609, Coopersburg, PA 18036.
