Obituary published on Legacy.com by Carlisle-Branson Funeral Service & Crematory on May 1, 2022.
Kathleen Malott

Kathleen and her late husband Darrell Wayne Malott moved to Indianapolis in 1973 where they met a great group of friends that they traveled with often. Kathleen cared for her siblings from a young age and loved to play "kids" games. She was full of life, fun loving and never knew a stranger! She enjoyed cooking and sharing family meals. Kathleen never missed an event that her children or grandchildren were involved in. She loved going to the casino and playing bingo. She spent the winter in Punta Gorda, Floridia with her niece Karen, where they were always heading out on fun adventures.
Kathleen is survived by her children; Debbie (Jimmy) Robinson, Terry (Tim) Finney, Kathy Malott and Rusty (Deb) Malott and daughter-in-law; Debbie Malott, grandchildren; Angie (Andy) Cook, Shannon (Joe) Burgess, TJ (Heather) Finney, Josh (Randa) Spencer, Matt (Kim) Robinson, Jeremy (Nicole) Robinson, Kyle (Jessi) Malott, Tyler (Katie) Malott and Jessica (Nate) Hall along with 12 great grandchildren and one on the way, sister; Irene Flanary and Geraldine (Philip) Geng, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Kathleen is preceded in death by her loving husband of 49 years; Darrell Wayne Malott, son; Anthony Malott and brothers; Eddie Fugate and Arnold Fugate.
A Graveside service will take place on Monday, May 9, 2022 at Stilesville Cemetery (Stilesville, Indiana) at 1:00pm.
The Malott family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff at Plainfield Healthcare Center for the exemplary care that was shown to their mother, especially "Britney" who was not only a team member, but also Kathleen's friend.
