Kathleen Ann Moore
June 8, 1943 - October 5, 2025
Passed away on October 5, 2025 at the age of 82. Kathy grew up on a family farm and enjoyed showing her Chester White pigs at the Dakota County Fair as a member of 4-H. For college, she attended Mankato State University, where she earned her nursing degree. Kathy then worked at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities as a nurse for many years before becoming a home hospice nurse before retiring. A 55 year resident of St. Paul, Kathy enjoyed working in her butterfly garden, going out to eat with the "Jew Crew Mom's", watching Westerns on TV (especially the show "Gunsmoke"), spending time with her two sons, traveling to the North Shore of Lake Superior, and getting together with her college friends. A voracious reader, Kathy enjoyed reading about history (especially MN history) and nature-related articles. Preceded in death by husband, James; parents, Lyle and Frances Johnson; brother, David Johnson; and in-laws, Milt and Angy Moore. Survived by children, James Jr. (Kristine) and Steven; sister, Pam (Tom) Kleeberger; nephew, TJ (Amy) Kleeberger; and sister-in-law, Susan Moore-Zahreciyan (Roy). In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the James H. Moore Summer Camp Scholarship at the Temple of Aaron, St. Paul. Funeral service on Friday, October 10th at 1:00PM at Hodroff-Epstein Memorial Chapel, 671 South Snelling Avenue, St. Paul, MN 55116.
