Kathleen Ellen Pinelli

Kathleen Ellen Pinelli, age 71, of Zephyrhills, Florida, passed away on February 28, 2026. Born on May 6, 1954, in Brooklyn, New York, she was the daughter of Thomas Culleeny and Helle Janosick.

Kathleen grew up in New York and graduated from Mineola High School in Garden City. She later worked for the Nassau County Police Department as a crossing guard, where she was known for her dedication and care for the children and families in her community.

On September 13, 1975, she married the love of her life, James Pinelli, at Corpus Christi Church in Mineola, New York. Together they built a loving life centered around family.

Kathleen previously resided in Mineola, New York, before moving to Florida. She was a proud member of the Emerald Society and enjoyed crafting, shopping, and collecting Precious Moments figurines. Above all, she cherished spending time with her family and creating special memories with those she loved.

She is survived by her devoted husband of over 50 years, James Pinelli; her children, Philip Pinelli and his wife Joanne and Jennifer Pinelli and her husband Jamie Williams; and her beloved grandchildren, Julianna, Stephanie, Nathanael, Benjamin, Abigail, and Lila.

Kathleen will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and the love she shared with her family and friends. Her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
