We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our beloved daughter, Kathryn (Katy) Julianne Crabtree, 18, of Uniontown, on January 17, 2025. She was born on December 6, 2006 as the daughter of Michael and Tiffany Crabtree. Katy was a spirited individual whose sense of humor and loving nature touched all who had the privilege to know her.
Katy was blessed with the gift of creativity. She had the talent of being able to sit down and play the guitar or piano from hearing a song played. She also enjoyed composing her own music and singing lyrics. Her artistry extended beyond music; Kathryn possessed an incredible gift for drawing, her hands capable of bringing dreams and imaginations to paper. She also enjoyed sewing and making stuffed animals. She loved taking walks, going on hikes, and exploring.
Katy was preceded in death by her grandfather Paul D. Crabtree; and Uncle Jonathan Yoder.
Katy is survived by her loving family, parents Michael and Tiffany Crabtree; sister Alyssa Crabtree; maternal grandparents Dennis and Tina Lippy; paternal grandparents Dave and Nancy Perry; aunts and uncles Joyce (Jason) Owens, Tim (Jimmy Lee) Crabtree, Deborah Hrusovsky, Susan (Ed Marcelo) Baker, Lydia (John) Yatras, Joshua Yoder, Matt Perry, and Debbie Perry; and many cousins, relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held from 12:00pm to 2:00pm, Saturday, January 25th, at Newcomer Funeral Home (131 N. Canton Rd., Akron) where a PRIVATE Memorial Service will be held at 2:00pm with FAMILY ONLY.
