Kathy Ann Culwell, 53, of Brownwood, Texas, passed away on August 27, 2023. Kathy was a loving mother not only to her three boys, but also to all those around her in her community. She was always offering a helping hand to those who came in contact with her.
Kathy was born on October 2, 1969, in Houston, Texas. She had a passion for the outdoors and enjoyed collecting deer sheds, hunting for special rocks, and arrowheads. It brought her great joy to explore nature and uncover hidden treasures.
She is survived by her son Joshua Mays and his wife Amber Mays, along with their children Miley and Analicia. Her son Colton Mays and his wife Lauren Mays, along with their children Hannah and Gideon. Her son Quaid Mays and his wife Shelby Mays. Kathy was a devoted and cherished grandmother to her grandchildren.
Kathy was preceded in death by her father, Donald Culwell, and mother, LaNell Lewis. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 2, at 10 am at the Early Church of Christ. This gathering will be an opportunity for friends and family to come together, share memories, and honor Kathy's life.

Oh the memories we shared! Raising kids together, fellowshipping at each others home and church and faithfully coloring each others hair every year! Time and life changes have taken us our separate was, but I will always love you and cherish the memories we had together!
