Kathy Gerrein (nee: Winters), 82, of Bellevue, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, January 14, 2025.
Kathy was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Newport, KY. She grew up in Newport and attended St. Vincent School and Our Lady of Providence High School. She began her career with Cincinnati Bell and then worked as a manager with Jewel Creations. She went on to work several years in the banking industry and finished her career at an oral surgeon's office. In her spare time she enjoyed arts & crafts especially knitting and crocheting. Kathy was an avid golfer & gardener. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with family and especially attending her grandchildren's sporting events. Kathy was very outgoing and never met a stranger.
Kathy was born November 13, 1942 in Covington, KY to the late Earl Winters and Dorothy (nee: Gardner) Winters.
Kathy is survived by her Husband, Tom Gerrein, Daughters, Julie (Bob) Vogt, Amy (Steve) Carver, Grandchildren, Lexie (Cory) Hodge, Jalyn Vogt, Olivia Carver (Ryan Brandenburg), Corey Carver, Brother, David (Judy, Deceased) Winters, also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins & friends.
Visitation 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at Holy Spirit Parish, Newport, KY. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 12:00pm at Holy Spirit Parish, with Rev. Msgr. William F. Cleves, officiating. Entombment will take place in St. Stephen Cemetery Mausoleum, Fort Thomas, Kentucky.
Memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association Greater Cincinnati Chapter, 720 E Pete Rose Way, Suite 330, Cincinnati, OH 45202.
