Kathy Geordene Gwinn was born March 30, 1946 in Des Moines, Iowa the daughter of George Elvin and Carolyn Christina (Curtis) Bills.
Kathy had lived most of her life in Des Moines and Knoxville, Iowa. She was united in marriage to Steven Eugene Gwinn. Kathy was a proud conservative Chistian and homemaker.
Kathy passed away Wednesday, September 17, 2025 at Accura of Knoxville at the age of 79 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Carolyn; brother, Gary Bills; granddaughter, Jennifer Halterman and her husband, Steven. May they rest in peace.
Those left to cherish Kathy’s memory include her children: Mark and Anita Halterman of Eagle River, Alaska; Eric Halterman of Rathbun, Iowa and Melana and Joe Hammond of Hartford, Iowa; 5 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; brother, David Bills of Houston, Texas and many other family members and friends.
Kathy chose to be cremated and private services will be held at an undetermined future date.
