Kathy Lynn Landis

Kathy Lynn Landis, 76, of Crimora, passed away Saturday, October 4, 2025 at Augusta Health Medical Center in Fishersville. She was born July 15, 1949 in Harrisonburg and was the daughter of the late Max Viands and Thelma "Kyger" Viands Shifflett.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Bonnie Gibson and Erby Viands.

Kathy loved cooking for her family, especially family dinners. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her grandchildren. Kathy was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She will be missed by all those who knew and loved her.

Kathy is survived by her loving husband of 28 years, Tony Landis; daughter, Laurie Shifflett-Bryan and husband, Eugene; sons, Wayne Shifflett and wife, Jennifer, James Shifflett and wife, Sabrina, Corey Simmons and wife, Lee Anne, Kellen Landis and wife, Carrie; brothers, Wayne Viands, Jay Viands, Timmy Viands, Bobby Viands; sisters, Connie Shifflett, Denise Warlitner, Becky Foltz, Rachel Viands; father and mother-in-law, Roy and Susie Landis; 15 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

A Visitation will be held 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, October 7, 2025 at Kyger Funeral Home in Elkton. Burial will be private.
