Mary Kathryn "Kathy" Pappan, age 65, of Ponca City, OK, passed away on May 12, 2025, at OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City, OK. A funeral service will take place at 10:00 AM on Friday at Trout Funeral Home Chapel, with interment to follow at Washunga Cemetery in Newkirk, OK. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory, 505 W. Grand Ave, Ponca City, OK, 74601.
Kathy was born on February 21, 1960, in Ponca City, OK, to James Allen and Ethel Louise (Buntt) Robinson. Kathy was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend who lived her life with passion and devotion to her family and community.
Kathy dedicated much of her professional life to administrative work as an Office Clerk at Phillips 66. Known for her strong work ethic and kind demeanor, she was deeply respected by her colleagues and peers.
Kathy's greatest joy was her family. She was a proud and loving wife to Roger Pappan, and a devoted mother and "nanos". Her enthusiasm for supporting her children and grandchildren was unwavering-she was their loudest cheerleader and greatest fan. She was also an avid golfer and bowler, enjoying time spent with friends and family on the greens or lanes.
She was preceded in death by: her father, James Allen Robinson; and her brother, Robert Allen Robinson. She is survived by: her husband, Roger Pappan; her daughter, Tonja Morris and her husband, Dean, of Ponca City, OK; grandchildren, Ryan Turnipseed and his wife Aubrey of Stillwater, OK, Dalton Turnipseed of Ponca City, OK; sister, Nellie Depperschmidt; fur babies, Scout and Gypsy; and many beloved family members and friends who will forever cherish her memory.
Pall bearers Ryan Turnipseed, Dalton Turnipseed, Chad Depperschmidt, Randy Tracy, Blake Anderson, and Jeff Koenke. Honorary pall bearers Dan Sims, Pat Lessert, Trey Depperschmidt.
