Mrs. Kathy Beamon Ratledge, 66, passed away Wednesday, October 30, 2024. She was born December 6, 1957 in Yadkin County to the late Luther and Ina Mae Allgood Beamon. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Mike Ratledge; a son, Keith Queen; her sisters, Ethel Shore, Shirley Billings; her brother, Johnny Beamon. Kathy loved spending time at the beach and she loved going on cruises. She is survived by her sons, Kevin Beamon, Kelly (Jennifer) Queen; grandchildren, Charli Queen (fiancé Tyler Green), Addison “Addi” Queen, Brianna Queen, Nathan Queen, Andrew Beamon (fiancé Miranda Green), Brandon Beamon, Caitlyn Beamon; great-grandchildren, Oakley, Hunter, Ryan; and several nieces and nephews. A celebration of life service will be 3:00 PM, Sunday, November 10, 2024 at Lakeside Church in Yadkinville with Pastor Wayne Moose officiating. The family would like to express their love and gratitude to Trellis Supportive Care and Dr. Teresa at Yadkin Medical Associates for the loving care shown to Kathy and her family during this difficult journey. In lieu of flowers the family request memorials are made to Trellis Supportive Care, Attn: Finance, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston Salem, NC 27103. Gentry Family Funeral Service of Yadkinville is serving the Ratledge family.
