Mrs. Kathy Lynn Taranto, age 75, passed away Thursday, March 27, 2025, in Mena, Arkansas. She was born, March 1, 1950, to parents, Ireland and Mary Nell (Sirmon) Despain, in Mena, Arkansas. Mrs. Kathy Lynn Taranto was the proud owner of Allbaugh's Florist and gifts for many years. Kathy was known for her creative spark, loving activities like creating floral arrangements, designing and house decorating. She was a lover of cats and enjoyed going antiquing and looking for collectables. Mrs. Taranto was a woman of faith; she regularly attended the Presbyterian Church of Mena. Mrs. Kathy Lynn Taranto is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Guy Taranto; parents, Ireland and Mary Nell (Sirmon) Despain; as well as by her granddaughter, Courtney Bohn. She is survived by her son, David Bohn; grandchildren, Cory Bohn, Casey Bohn, Jamie Bohn, Patience Bohn, Trinity Bohn, and Chloe Bohn; great-grandchildren, Leah and Atlas; sisters, Karen Gardner and husband Mike, Renda Cogburn; special friends, Pat Copelin and Cindi Hernandez; as well as by a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends too numerous to mention. Services for Mrs. Kathy Lynn Taranto will be held, Thursday, April 3, 2025, at 2:00 p.m., at the Presbyterian Church of Mena. Brother Bill Sites will be officiating under the direction of Beasley-Wood Funeral Home. Interment will follow the services at Pinecrest Memorial Park, in Mena, Arkansas. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the Presbyterian Church of Mena.
