Mrs. Kathy Renee (McAden) Taylor, age 60 of Sanford, NC, entered eternal rest on Friday January 17, 2025, at her residence.
Kathy McAden Taylor was born March 2, 1964, to late Marshall Odell McAden and Mary W. McAden
On January 17, 2025, God said to Kathy, "it's time for you to come home with me." She took her last breath at home with her devoted and loving husband by her side.
Kathy was preceded in death by two sisters Debra and Mary C. McAden, four brothers Charles, Barry, Donald, and Marshall McAden all of Sanford, NC
Kathy graduated from Lee County High School in 1982 and later attended Haywood University College where she received her bachelor's degree in 2012.
Kathy succeeded in becoming the director of The House of Refuge Church Childcare Center, The secretary to the bishop of the church, and then her own adult home care business K.T.V.A. by the grace and love of God and her family.
Kathy was a lady with many hats, a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend. She was the youngest of her siblings, but she was the head, and the strongest. She was very orderly and always stayed on top of business. She took a lot of pride in her home and loved nice things. She was very courageous and outgoing. We all know how much she loved the Lord; she was a real go getta! She had a passion for theater and the arts, and she loved to sing.
Kathy leaves to cherish her memories, her husband of 33 years James Taylor "Joe", her children, three sons Deltaris McAden, Akil McAden of Sanford, NC, and Brian McAden of Roanoke, VA, one daughter Dominick C. McAden of Sanford, NC; one brother Cedric McAden of Sanford, NC, six grandchildren, one aunt Alice Brower of Spring Lake, NC, three special nieces Latanya Cameron, Phaedra Taylor, and Raquino Rollins, a favorite sister-in-law Nedra T. Rollins, a special sister-n-law Patricia Campbell, a special friend Gwen Morrison, and a host of relatives and friends.
