KATHY A. WAYT (WALKER)

Age 63 of Frankfort, formerly of Rocky Comfort, MO passed away suddenly with her husband Rick Wayt on Thursday, January 30th, 2025. 

Kathy is survived by her loving family, dear friend T.J. Wade, mother, Patricia Walker (Bankson), sons, Rob (Dehlia) Wilkins, Chase (Jeri) Wilkins, siblings, Renee (Walt) Eppard, Rob (Marsha) Walker, Debbie Smrz, Melissa Walker, Jon (Karen) Walker, Michael (Lisa) Walker, grandchildren, Jordan Wilkins, Elena Wilkins, Josh Wilkins, Luke Wilkins, Andrew Wilkins, Chloe Wilkins and many nieces and nephews.

Kathy was preceded in death by her father, Robert Walker and son Josh Wilkins. 

Kathy had endless fond memories of a beautiful childhood in St. Charles, IL. Her years in the Rocky Comfort, MO community held a special place in her heart. She happily raised and cared for many Border Collies and tended to many beautiful gardens. Her greatest passion by far was her role as grandmother. She will be deeply missed by all who loved her. 

Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL 60423 on Saturday, February 8th, 2025 from 9:00 AM until time of the funeral service at 11:30 AM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Wounded Warrior Project www.woundedwarriorproject.org would be greatly appreciated.
