Linda Wayt

Linda Ann Wayt, age 64, a native of Chicago, Illinois and a resident of Seymour, Indiana passed away on Thursday April 19, 2024, at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born on September 18, 1959 to the late Paul Elkins and the late Zola (Collins) Martin.
Linda had worked at Valeo for several years as an Operator. She was also a member of
the Seymour Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. She was nurturing, strong willed, independent and had a wonderful sense of humor. Linda was an encourager and always made people feel comfortable around her. She was truly the best mom and nanny ever. She enjoyed concerts and spending time in nature. She made an impact on each life that she touched in her own special way.
She is survived by her siblings Pauline (Willis) Kilgas of Seymour, In, Mary (Miles) Ray
of Maples, FL, and Paul Elkins of Crothersville, IN; two children Rusty Wayt and Cloie (Hector)
Rojas both of Seymour, IN; twelve grandchildren and five great grandchildren, Kebre Wayt,
Griffin (Caitlin) Wayt, Maria Brock, Alex Salas, Koleton Lynch, Jacob Sawyer, Aly Lynch, Rusty
(Fayth) Lynch, Kayelin Wayt, Cooper Rojas, Maria Salas, Kayleeann Rojas, all of Seymour, IN.
Per Linda's wishes, the Memorial service will be private with family only. In compliance
with her wishes, cremation was chosen.
Her soul mate, Tom Swengel, preceded her in death along with her eldest son Ryan Wayt.
