Katie Lipe Osborne, age 86, of Lancaster, SC, passed away on Thursday, May 15, 2025, at MUSC Lancaster. The family is hosting a funeral service that will be at 12 p.m. on Monday, May 19, 2025, at Wolfe Funeral Home. The family will receive friends an hour before the service. Born in Fort Mill, SC, she was the daughter of the late Jesse Lee Lipe and Rosie Reeves. She was a member of Fort Mill Church of the Nazarene and Softball for Springs. She retired from Springs Industries where she worked as a weaver for 48 years. She enjoyed bowling, spending time outdoors, fishing, gardening and most importantly, spending time with her family and friends. Surviving are her children, David Osborne (Kathy) or Indian Land, SC, Terry Osborne (Tina) of Waxhaw, NC, Pam McCoy of Charlotte, NC, Jack Osborne (Felicia) of Waxhaw, NC, Rosie Roberts (Doug) of Lancaster, SC, Ricky Blackwell of Chester, SC; 13 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 32 years, Bill Osborne. Memorial may be made to: Alzheimer's Association - Western Carolina Chapter.
