Kaye Hare Obituary

Kaye loved life! She loved her family, friends, and work family. She was an accomplished photographer who captured magic moments at weddings and family events. Her favorite subject to photograph was all species of birds. Kaye was a member and past President of the North Carolina Paralegal Association. She also taught babies to swim, participated in fund raising 5K walks and helped with children's ministry at Watts Street Baptist Church.
In addition to her mother, Ms. Hare is also survived by her son, Daniel Hogan; sisters, Becky Hare Kaufman (Greg), Vickie Hare Zografos (Pantelis); partner, Ron Ross; nephews, David Dean, Chris Kaufman (Michelle); great-nephews, Alston Dean, Caden Kaufman, Evan Kaufman.
A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, January 20th at Clements Funeral Chapel in Durham. The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the Gathering Room at Clements.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The National Audubon Society: 225 Varick Street, 7th floor, New York, NY 10014.

I am so sorry to hear of Kaye's passing. She and I were co-workers many years ago and became good friends. Although our paths only crossed infrequently, we were always able to pick up where we left off and enjoy catching up. She will be greatly missed. My hugs and prayers go to her family.
