Keith Bertoluzzi, 85, of Portersville, PA, formally from East McKeesport/North Versailles, passed peacefully on January 14, 2025.
Keith is a graduate of Duquesne University. His legacy is carried on by his beloved wife, Mary Jean Bertoluzzi; and their six children, Tami (Dan) Obremski, Leslie Bertoluzzi (Priester Harrison), Keith Bertoluzzi, Jr., Aaron Bertoluzzi, Danielle (Lee) Fulcher and Stephen (Megan) Bertoluzzi; grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Kelton (Leann) Scholl, Devin Scholl, Gavin Scholl, Maya Scholl, Daniel Obremski, Chandra (Nate) Obremski, the late Nathaniel Lutz, Remy Lutz, Roman Lutz, Braydon (Azure) Obremski, Cairo Obremski, Sophia Harrison, Ruby (Harrison) Flyod, Whitney (Drew) Quinton, Hudson, Charlie, Jack, Stephen (Sara) Fulcher, Ella Fulcher, Easton Fulcher, Nicholas (Grace) Fulcher, Henry Fulcher, Vito Bertoluzzi, Nico Bertoluzzi, Marco Bertoluzzi, Rocco Bertoluzzi, Landon Bertoluzzi, Jackson Bertoluzzi, Bailey Bertoluzzi, Anthony (Kiana) Bertoluzzi, Bella Bertoluzzi, Crosby Bertoluzzi, and Lillian Bertoluzzi; and Keith's siblings, Karen (Herm) Lagally, Pamela (the late Jerry) Endsley, Lynn (the late Raymond) Johnston, the late Rachael Johnston, Eric (Joan) Bertoluzzi, and Hollis (Jim) Ulaky.
His faith in Jesus was evident in his willingness to pray for everyone and anyone at any time. His spirit will forever be cherished in the hearts of his adoring grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Keith was a central figure in his family, providing unwavering support, and embodying the role of a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
Keith was an extremely talented musician. He was a music teacher for 30 years at East Allegheny School District, as well as a band member of the former Holiday House Band in Monroeville for 16 years. He played with many amazing artists at the Benedum, Pittsburgh symphony, weddings, many nursing homes, and church functions. He purchased land along with his wife, Mary Jean, and built a beautiful home by himself in Portersville for everyone to enjoy. Along with their family, Keith and Mary Jean always had an open-door policy and welcomed everyone into their home. Keith enjoyed interacting with his children and grandchildren, giving tractor and motorcycle rides, making a garden, water sliding, corn hole, and sitting by the fire.
Keith Bertoluzzi, Sr.'s Celebration of Life will be held on January 25th, 2025, at Portersville Christian Missionary Alliance Church in Portersville, PA. Friends and Family will gather at 10:00 A.M. to celebrate Keith's life, followed by a Christian Memorial Service at 11:00 A.M. A luncheon will be served immediately afterwards in the church activity center.

Mrs. Bertoluzzi and family, you have my deepest sympathy on the passing from this life, as I called him Mr. Bertoluzzi. I know with all my heart that he is with Christ in His heavenly kingdom! I had the pleasure of having Mr. Bertoluzzi as my music teacher at Park Terrace, and just the other day sang a song to my grandchildren that he taught me in school. I had the pleasure of reconnecting with him and some of your family when his mother Sophia was a resident at Emeritus in Latrobe, where I worked. I just loved her! I pray that at the end of my life, I will be as prepared and as worthy to enter into eternal life as he was! May his memory be eternal. In love and friendship, Mary Alfieri Bellich
