Walter Keith Eubanks, 56 of Flowery Branch, GA passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 6, 2025 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Braselton, GA. He fought a long but valiant fight against Multiple Sclerosis.
"Keith' (as his friends and family knew him), was a man full of life, mischief, love of God, family and country. Keith was born in Columbus, GA on November 6, 1968 and grew up in Shiloh, GA. He was the son of Walter Kary Eubanks and Dorthy Jane King Eubanks. Keith graduated from Manchester High School where he was a member of the band. After graduation Keith joined the Army and was stationed in Ft. Hood, Texas where he also served in Desert Shield/Storm as a proud member of the First 'Tiger' Brigade / 2nd Armored Division. Keith's military service was highlighted with several military honors including an Army Commendation Medal (with 'Combat Distinguishing Device') and the Army Achievement Medal among many other awards during his 7 years of distinguished service earning the rank of Sergeant before being honorably discharged in 1995. During his time in the Army, Keith met the love of his life Debra Patton whom he would marry on August 20, 1993.
After his time in the Army, Keith returned to Georgia where he and Debra had a daughter Katie. Keith also began to work as an automotive technician and later became a service foreman with U.S. Auto Sales (prior to his decline in health). Keith was a man of faith who loved the Lord as well as a devoted family man. Keith also had many interests including dirt bikes, four wheeling, guns and knife throwing as well as movies and a member of the NRA.
He is survived by his wife Debra, daughter Katie both of Flowery Branch, his stepson, Roy (Courtney) Perrin of Lilburn, GA, a stepdaughter, Renee Perrin of Lawrenceville, GA, three grandchildren: Alyson Perrin, Ashlyn Mutz, and Taylor Mutz, his father Walter (Phyllis) of Shiloh, GA, mother Dorthy of Flowery Branch,GA brother Trevor, niece Leah and nephew Tyler all of Flowery Branch, GA and many other extended family members and many, many friends.
There will be a celebration of life' service that will be held on July 26th 2025 between 5:30 and 8:30 pm at Cherokee Bluff Park in Flowery Branch, GA.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00pm on Sunday, August 3rd, 2025 at the Chapel of Cox Funeral Home 93 Prather- Barnes Road, Manchester, GA with military honors. Private internment will be held at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery in Ft. Mitchell, AL.
Flowers will be accepted, but donations in Keith's name to The Muscular Dystrophy Association MDA.org or any Disabled American Veteran's Organization.
