Keith Dwight Graham aka Wally passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 11,2024 at the age of 78. He was born on April 15, 1946, in the district of Friendship in Trelawny, Jamaica. He is the second of eight children born to the late Phillip Lloyd Graham and Doris Graham. He attended the Unity Primary School for nine years. Upon completion, Wally stayed at home for some time before moving to Jamaica's capital, Kingston. While in Kingston, Keith enlisted in the Jamaica Defense Force, where he stayed for six years, attaining the rank of Lance Corporal.
Keith worked at Cremo, before migrating to the United States in 1975. He began his life in the states as a resident of Rockland County, NY, where he worked at Northrop Grumman for several years. He resided in Rockland County for over 50 years, later moved to Windsor, Connecticut to live with his daughter Paula and family.
As a child Keith aka Wally enjoyed playing cricket and going fishing at the Sayball river. While living in New York he loved spending time with his fellow Jamaican ex-patriates watching sporting events, playing cards, dominoes and reminiscing about their former lives in Jamaica and current events.
He was predeceased by his parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Left to mourn his quiet presence are his four children, five grandchildren, five sisters, one brother, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Services will be held on Saturday September 21, 2024, at Carmon Poquonock Funeral Home,1816 Poquonock Ave, Windsor, CT 06095 at 9:30am
