Keith Alan Hakim

Mr. Keith Alan Hakim, age 70 of Beverly Hills, Michigan, passed away Sunday afternoon, October 5, 2025, at the Avalon of Commerce. He was born on October 3, 1955, in Detroit, Michigan, the son of the late Jamil and Julia Hakim.

Keith was preceded in death by his son, Scott Hakim. He has two surviving children, Dana Hakim of Chicago, IL & Todd Hakim of Waterford, MI. Keith is also survived by the mother of his two children, Lori Hakim, who has been a true friend over the years. Keith is survived by his five siblings, Robert Hakim (Lynne), Benita Hakim (Dan Donohue), Carolyn Hakim Koprince, Nicole Hakim Yohn (Chris) and Derrick Hakim (Debbie).

Keith was an Executive Vice President at Central Alarm Signal, Inc. for 29 years, where he was a masterful salesperson. He was President of Chambers Systems, an alarm manufacturing company that also made audible circuit testers.

Keith was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing, and boating. He was also deeply involved with the Boy Scouts, where he achieved the rank of Eagle Scout. His gentle spirit, love of nature, and appreciation for life's simple pleasures will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.

Family will receive friends on Thursday, October 9, 2025, 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. with Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at A.J. Desmond & Sons (Vasu, Rodgers & Connell Chapel), 32515 Woodward Ave., Royal Oak.

Funeral Mass, Friday, October 10, 2025, 10:00 am at Mother of God Chaldean Catholic Church, 25585 Berg Rd, Southfield. (Family will be at the church at 9:30 to receive family & friends)

Burial to follow at Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery, 25800 W. 10 Mile Road, Southfield, MI 48033.
