Keith Roger Lamb, 83, of Spartanburg, died Monday, November 11, 2024, at the Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. A native of Cherokee County, he was born on August 30, 1941, son of the late Thomas W. and Pauline Belcher Lamb.
He was a retired service technician with 48 years of service from Milliken Packaging, a member of Cudd Memorial Baptist Church where he had taught the children’s Sunday School class, served on the Building and Grounds Committee where they completed many projects and served as an usher. He enjoyed gardening, canning pickles and pepper relish, collecting baseball and other sports cards and loved helping his wife crafting wreaths.
Surviving is his wife of 51 years, Diann McClellan Lamb; two sons, Stephen R. Lamb (Angie) and Shannon K. Lamb (Karla) all of Spartanburg; grandchildren, Mallory (Baby Girl) Lamb, Brycen K. Lamb (Tara), Josh T. Lamb (Allie); two great grandchildren; brother, Larry Lamb (Dianne) of Gastonia, NC and his dog, Tucker. He was predeceased by his sisters, Barbara Lou Jenkins and Shirley Gail Lamb.
A visitation will be from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm Friday, November 15, 2024, at Cudd Memorial Baptist Church, 1301 Boiling Springs Road, Spartanburg, SC 29303. A memorial service will follow at 3:00 pm in the church conducted by the Rev. Kris Showen and Rev. Ralph Jett.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, Memorial Giving, 501 St. Jude’s Place, Memphis, Tn 38105, stjude.org/memorial or to the SALT fund at Cudd Memorial Baptist Church or to the Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home, 686 Jeff Davis Drive, Spartanburg, SC.
The family is at the home of Shannon and Karla Lamb, 1840 Whitestone Road, Spartanburg, SC 29302.
