Keith Rothschadl, age 46, of Cottonwood, Minnesota, died unexpectedly on Thursday, October 3, 2024, at his home. No memorial services are planned at this time, but please leave his family a note or a memory on his tribute wall.
Keith David Rothschadl was born on July 25, 1978, in Moorhead, Minnesota. He was the son of Larry and Debora (Gunderson) Rothschadl. Keith attended school in Moorhead and graduated there with the high school class of 1996. He continued his education at several colleges before earning his bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics.
Keith was united in marriage on September 16, 2005, to Jill Motschenbacher in Las Vegas. The couple then made their home in Moorhead, Minnesota and Sabin, Minnesota where he drove truck. In 2012 the couple moved to Goodyear, Arizona, where Keith worked in technology for the Apollo Education Group. The family then moved back north to Cottonwood, Minnesota, in 2017 where Keith began his work for the Schwan's Food Company.
Keith's priority was always his kids and he cherished the time he was able to spend with them. His other enjoyments included traveling (particularly anywhere that involved mountains and cool weather), spending time outdoors, and cooking unique meals for his family. Keith was always on the go and needed to be constantly working on one project or another.
Keith Rothschadl died unexpectedly on Thursday, October 3, 2024, in Cottonwood, Minnesota. He reached the age of 46 years, 2 months, and 8 days. Blessed be his memory.
He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Jill Rothschadl of Cottonwood; 2 sons, Ryson Rothschadl and Easton Rothschadl of Cottonwood; mother, Debora Rothschadl of Twin Valley; brothers, Jeff Rothschadl of Moorhead, Greg Rothschadl of Westbrook, ME; parents-in-law, John Motschenbacher (and Char Aberle) of Fargo, ND, Julie (and Donald) McLaughlin of Goodyear, AZ; nieces, and other relatives and friends.
Keith was preceded in death by his father, Larry Rothschadl.
