Keith Wilson, age 54, of the Bald Mountain Community, went Home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 20th, 2025. A native of Yancey County, he was a son of Lucille Wilson and the late Wade Wilson.

Keith was of the Baptist faith and attended Bald Mountain Baptist Church. The most important thing in life to him was time spent with all his friends and family. He lived his life with love and kindness towards those he knew well and those he didn't, and was a bright light in this world. Those who loved and knew him will dearly miss his presence.

In addition to his mother, Lucille Wilson of Burnsville, he is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Victoria Dawn Hunter Wilson of Burnsville; his brother, Ron Wilson of Greenville, SC, and brother-in-law, James Pinyan of Greenville, SC. He is also survived by numerous extended family members.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Saturday, August 23rd at his mother's home at 4085 Bald Mountain Road in Burnsville.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you tell someone you are close to how much you love them, spend time with your friends, and be kind to a stranger. In doing so, you will honor Keith's memory and how he lived his life.
