Kelli Ann Alvarez Kelli Ann Alvarez, beloved Daughter, Sister, Mother, and Friend made her journey to the Creator on May 1st, 2025. She was born in Reno, Nevada on April 13, 1965 to Stanley and Alfreda Alvarez. She was last of five children. She was in Nevada until the family moved to Idaho in the early 70's.
Kelli was always led a nomadic lifestyle until she finally found some one to settle down with. She found love and companionship with Brian Racehorse. From that union they had two sons, Kendall and Dustin. Eventually that marriage dissolved and she returned to her nomadic ways. Her sons want it to be known that she had a big heart, she loved helping people, and she loved being outdoors. She adored being in the mountains and helping her mother garden. She also loved her sons very fiercely and always did the best she could for them.
She is survived by her mother, Alfreda Dixey, brothers Vernon and Kenneth Alvarez, and sister Rose Ariwite. Also, her two sons, Kendall Racehorse and Dustin Racehorse. And also, her many nieces and nephews and her very beautiful grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her father, Stanley Alvarez, Aunt Wilma Eagle, Sister Lynne Alvarez, nephews Ivan Garfield, Adam Alvarez, Ryan Ariwite, and her grandparents Bonafacio Alvarez, Maraget Tindore, Walter Eagle, and Rosetta (Evans/Rainey) Mariano.
A Prayer Service will be held 6 p.m Sunday, May 4, 2025 at the Hawker Funeral Home in Blackfoot, Idaho. Traditional burial will take place on 2 p.m. May 5, 2025 at Cedars Cemetery.
