Kelly Matthew Clark, age 62 of Fowler, IN, passed away at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, June 1, 2025 at IU Health Arnett Hospital in Lafayette.
Kelly was born on August 8, 1962 in Danville, IL. He was the son of Richard A. and Marjorie C. (Bell) Clark. Kelly was a 1981 graduate of Seeger High School. He lived in Benton County for most of his life, living in Fowler the past 40 years. Kelly married Michelle Greenwood in May 1998 in Williamsport and she survives.
Kelly worked as a construction inspector for the Indiana Department of Transportation for 35 years.
Kelly enjoyed watching NASCAR and was a Dale Earnhart Sr. fan. He was a history buff and loved watching the History Channel. Kelly enjoyed fishing and mowing his yard on his John Deere tractor. He loved animals, especially his cat “Kitty.” He enjoyed his time visiting with his friends at his favorite watering hole, “The Local,” in Fowler.
Kelly is survived by his wife Michelle; his 3 children from a previous marriage with Pamela Flynn whom was from Pine Village, Kayla Clark, Amanda Clark, and Matt Clark; father Richard A. Clark; grandson Quinten Clark; and brothersMichael (Wei) Clark and Rick (Carol) Clark.
Kelly was preceded in death by his mother Marjorie Clark, brother Scott Clark, and sister-in-law Nancy Clark.
A private family burial was held at West Lebanon Cemetery. A celebration life will be held at The Local in Fowler at a later date. The website will be updated with service details when they are available.
