In Loving Memory of Kelly A. Gommer

Kelly A. Gommer, of Havertown, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on May 14, 2025, at the age of 60. Born on January 31, 1965, in Chester, Pennsylvania, Kelly lived a life marked by kindness, resilience, and an unwavering dedication to her loved ones.
A woman of warmth and character, Kelly was known for her big personality and her remarkable ability to make genuine connections. She had an easy way with people-able to spark conversation with anyone-and was widely admired for her kindness, quick wit, and compassionate heart. Her presence left a lasting impression on everyone she met.
Kelly's vibrant personality shone brightest on football Sundays. A devoted Philadelphia Eagles fan, she embraced every game with boundless enthusiasm and a contagious energy that could fill any room. Whether cheering loudly, sharing a laugh, or passionately debating plays, Kelly's love for the Eagles was as bold and unforgettable as she was.
Kelly devoted much of her career to working as a dispatcher, a role in which she excelled by combining efficiency with empathy. At Eastern Answering Service, she was the steady, reassuring voice that helped guide countless callers through urgent situations with calm professionalism. Her dedication to her work was evident in the care she showed to others and the respect she earned from her colleagues.
Above all else, Kelly was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, John "Sonny" G. Gommer Jr., her son Brandon Gommer, and her daughter Amanda (Nathaniel) Ott. She was a proud and joyful "Mom Mom" to Alana, Ariana, Adriana, and Aliliana Ott, who brought her endless happiness and were the center of her world. She also leaves behind her beloved niece Tiffany Russell (Jones), her nephew Daniel Jones Jr., as well as extended family and many dear friends who felt the warmth of her love and will carry her memory forward.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Beverly A. Jones, and her brother, Daniel Jones.
A visitation to honor Kelly's life will be held on Saturday, May 24, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Cavanagh Funeral Home, 301 Chester Pike,
Norwood, PA 19074. Family, friends, and all who knew her are warmly invited to attend and pay their respects.
Kelly's legacy is one of love, laughter, and loyalty. Though she is no longer with us, her memory will live on in the hearts of those she touched-and in every game-day cheer for her beloved Eagles.
