Kelly Darnell Green, 46, born February 7, 1978, departed this life on May 27, 2024. Her parents were Tavia Hamilton and Richard Green, Sr. She was a first-chair clarinet player in high school and continued to play even in her last days. After graduating high school, Kelly obtained her associate’s degree in business administration and utilized her degree to open her own business.
Kelly was a light in everyone’s life she touched, and she had a way of making the world move around her. Her sole purpose was the foundation of her family which she created with the love of her life, Mikeal Luckett. She was an amazing mother to her children Tavion Luckett, Raven Luckett, and Idul Luckett. But, her soul was her grandkids, Kay Arie Kennedy, Kailionna Luckett, and one expected in November of 2024. Not only was she one of a kind, but she was also irreplaceable and will be cherished forever.
Kelly was preceded in death by her father, Richard Green, Sr.; grandparents, Ruby “Mannie” Tramill and Jonah “Big Daddy” Tramill.
Kelly will be lovingly missed by her children, Tavion Luckett, Raven Luckett, and Idul Luckett; the love of her life, Mikeal Luckett; grandchildren, Kay Arie Kennedy, Kailionna Luckett; mother, Tavia Hamilton; siblings, Richard Green, Laura Green, Shannon Green Hayden; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
