Kelly Elaine Parrish

Kelly Elaine Parrish, 59, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Tuesday morning, August 12, in Durham, NC. She was born on November 16, 1965 in Charlotte, NC. She was the youngest daughter of Billy and Kitty Parrish.

Kelly graduated from Independence High School in Charlotte. She was previously a preschool teacher. Most recently, she was a customer service manager at Food Lion in Chapel Hill, NC.

Kelly was preceded in death by her parents, Billy and Kitty Parrish, and her stepsister, Leesa Smith.

Kelly is survived by her son, Adam Parrish, her older brother, Bart Parrish, her older sister, Lisa Parrish Shriver (Kurt), and nieces, Kathryn and Kimberly Shriver. Other survivors are her stepmother, Patricia Parrish, stepsisters, Terry Winfree (Bert) and Karen Reich (Jesse), stepbrothers, Michael Smith (Dorothy) and Steven Smith (Ida.)

A celebration of the life of Kelly will be at Hall-Wynne Funeral Service on Wednesday, August 20 at 2:00 pm. The family will receive friends at 1:00 pm prior to the service.
