Kelly Elizabeth Roberson passed away at age 36 on July 18, 2025. Kelly was born September 21, 1988 as the first child to Ellen and Patrick Roberson Sr. in New Haven, CT. She would go on to graduate from Mountain View Elementary, Blue Ridge Middle and Blue Ridge High School in Greer, SC.

Kelly studied cosmetology, eventually finding her calling as a mother of two wonderful girls. Kelly spread joy and laughter to those she was with and she never met a stranger. Kelly loved spending time with her two daughters, her big Irish clan, and her friends. Kelly also had bad timing and wasn’t great at Christmases, but her family forgives her for that. Kelly enjoyed music, nature, and loved God. Kelly’s wish was to donate her organs and tissues to help others, a final act of generosity that embodied Kelly. Kelly was her daughters’ champion and she died a hero.

Kelly is survived by her daughters Joslin and Jade, her parents Patrick Sr. and Ellen, her younger brothers Patrick Jr. and Matthew with fiancé Paul, maternal grandmother Kathleen O’Neill, uncle Peter and aunt Pam O’Neill with children Peter and Jennifer, aunt Frances O’Neill with children Sarah, Kathleen, and Emily, aunt Kathy and Chris Flanagan with children Rebecca, Caitlin, Lauren, and Molly, aunt Elizabeth O’Neill with children Michael, Heather, Jessica, Amy, and Maggie, aunt Una O’Neill, aunt Margaret O’Neill, uncle Patrick O’Neill Sr with son Patrick O’Neill jr, Kayci, Natalie, and Jeremy, uncles Ron Roberson and Robert Flanagan, aunt Susan Roberson, and cousin Shayne Roberson.

Kelly is predeceased by her paternal grandparents Irene and Robert Roberson, her maternal grandfather Patrick O’Neill, her uncle Hugh O’Neill, her aunt Laura Roberson Chaney, and cousins Amanda, Joshua, and Ian.

In loving memory of Kelly, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many, we invite family and friends to celebrate her memory through a heartfelt Tribute Tune entitled "The Way She Loved." This composition, curated by her closest friends and family, encapsulates Kelly’s passion for life. In this moment of remembrance, let the music resonate and inspire us to carry forth her light.
