Kelly was born in Casper WY on May 27, 1964, and graduated from Natrona County High School. Soon after she met and married Kevin Scheenen of Casper WY. They shared many adventures for many years and eventually moved to Ft. Collins CO. As often happens, Kelly and Kevin took different paths and Kelly moved to Loveland CO, where she met Timothy Nienaber and they married on July 16, 2022.
Kelly loved gardening, camping, crafts, music and snowmobiling. She is survived by her husband Timothy Nienaber, stepsons Andrew and Ben, as well as Kevin Scheenen, stepmother Betsy Allen Upton, stepsister Lauren Judge, sister Wileen Upton, nieces- Fay Hall and Kendra Gezzi and Nephew Calvin Hall.
Kelly was preceded in death by her parents Calvin Upton and Gweneth Upton.
A celebration of Kelly's life will be held at a later time. In lieu of flowers the family would be grateful for donations in Kelly's name to your favorite charity.
