(1980 - 2025)

It is with heavy hearts that we share the devastating news that Kelly Zenger, our loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away unexpectedly on August 22, 2025. She touched the lives of so many people with her kindness, laughter, and love. Her infectious personality drew all to want to be around her. Kelly was born on December 14, 1980 and grew up in Bountiful, Utah. She married Kevin Trenton Zenger on August 21, 2003.

Her passing leaves an unimaginable void in the lives of her surviving husband, Kevin, and their two children, Trinity and Tyson, who are now facing life without their beloved wife and mom. Kelly's greatest joy in life was being a mother. Kelly is also survived by her parents, Mike and Linda Smith, her two sisters: Tonya Cummings (Brent) and Michelle Smith, mother-in-law Joni Zenger, sister-in-law Jamie Zenger Thomas (Andrew) and nieces and nephews: Morgyn (Jaden) Allen, Jayden Goddard, Katelyn Goddard, Kash Thomas, Landon Thomas, Sloane Thomas, and Kinley Thomas, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She is preceded in death by her grandparents and father-in-law Kevin Albert Zenger.

Kelly and Kevin have such an amazing group of family and friends who are going to miss the many fun adventures together - camping, football games, Sunday Funday, concerts, barbecues, Christmas parties, etc. She volunteered on the Bingham Youth Football Board for several years and was blissfully unaware of how hilarious she was and brightened everyone's day. Kelly worked at the Veterans Affairs Hospital pharmacy for the last 23 years, where she adored the people she worked with and being able to bring joy to the veterans she interacted with.

Funeral services will take place on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at Jenkins-Soffe Funeral Chapel, located at 1007 W. South Jordan Parkway, South Jordan, Utah 84095. The funeral will begin at 2:00 p.m., with a viewing preceding the service from 12:00-1:45 p.m.

The Zenger family would like to thank everyone for the outpouring of love, support, food, caring, and listening. Also, a big thanks to the Bingham Football Team, friends, and South Jordan neighbors for the incredibly touching candlelight vigil that took place on Saturday night. It is only through this surrounding blanket of love by everyone that Kevin, Trinity, and Tyson are able to survive this loss.
