Kind compassionate and a wonderful human.
I brought him a kitten on Christmas Eve 2098 - planning on giving it to my kids Christmas Day
The kitten was in a very bad way - he jokingly asked me why I was going to give a dead kitten to my kids Christmas Day...
And then he went to work - took the time (on Christmas Eve) to get the kitten to a point that I could take her home (with a handful of kitten enemas, special food and I think intravenous fluids!)
Cinder had 16 amazing years and was a beloved part of our family - she passed January 18,2024

My sympathies to the family and friends of Dr. Felix. Dr. Felix cared for my beautiful cat, Little Miss Muffet (Muffy). He was so very kind and honest. When the time came, his associates had me bring her in immediately. A wonderful reflection on Dr. Felix. Not only will he now be with his parents, but imagine him being surrounded by all the fur babies he loved. Truly his heaven.

Hello Family of Dr Ken Felix,
I didn't know him personally only through GPH where my Dad took his Beagles & informed us of finally, a Caring Knowledged Vet. I brought my Chesapeake's in, & yrs later my Beagles. When their appts were "emergency based" not knowing which Vet was in - to hear Dr. Felix voice helped calm each pet - in turn us. He recognized the last name & would comment on my Dad & a few laughs occured - esp for the Love of Beagles. Honestly Dr Felix to this day is the Best Knowledged Helpful Vet I've ever had care for my multiple Pups & 1 cat (many over the years) I couldn't Thank Him enough. Soon after Dr. Felix retired GPH I found another suitable Vet. He was missed by my Pups and I.
Saddened for his yrs of Cancer - very unkind as Dr. Felix was the Nightingale for many around here. May All which he has treated meet him for a Fluffy - Feathery plus Reunion as they all play and rest. May His Family find Peace Within and Take the Best Care possible.
Thank You Dr Felix.

To the entire Felix family I extend my most sincere condolences. I was fortunate to have grown up with the Felix family as members of St. George Parish. It was a small parish at first. However, as with the growth of the Felix family, the parish began to burgeon with members. You cannot give enough credit to the Felix family when looking at the Kearsarge area of Millcreek from the late fifties through today.
Every child produced by Joe and his wonderful wife is a success in life. Good down to earth people. People willing to help others and are great citizens. Dr. Ken was not only a friend, he was my veterinarian for over 35years. His kindness and his bed side manor were a reflection of his love for critters. The man he was I wish I could be. He will be missed and loved always. Truly someone to look up to and remember fondly.

Dr. Felix was a kind and compassionate man and I always trusted him with my pet. When it was time to put her down after many many years of good care he was there for me. Rest in peace good Doctor. My sincere condolences to his family.

Don, Buzz, and the whole family
Sorry to hear of the passing of Ken. I remember one time in the locker room at Prep sharing his love for animals and how he wanted to be a Doctor. God rest his soul!
