Kendall Morris Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Marshall Funeral Home and Cremations on Jan. 3, 2026.
Kendall Calvin Morris, affectionately known as "Kenny," passed away on December 26, 2025, at the age of 57. Born on May 23, 1968, in Gulfport, Mississippi, Kendall lived a life defined by faith, resilience, redemption, and a deep love for people.

A devoted father and grandfather, Kendall found his greatest joy in time spent with his children and grandchildren. He was an all-around good guy-kind, genuine, and always willing to help others. Kenny attended Gulfport High School and worked diligently throughout his life as a tire technician, cook, and welder, earning respect through hard work and dependability.

Kenny was affiliated with AA and Oxford Homes, where he found purpose in recovery. One of his proudest accomplishments was getting and staying sober and helping others do the same. His life became a testimony of God's grace and restoration. He loved riding his motorcycle, watching the Pittsburgh Steelers, and spending time with family.

Kenny was preceded in death by his mother, Peggy Joyce Necaise.

He is survived by his daughter, Britney Perry (Donkevius); his son, Kendall "Cody" Morris; three grandchildren, Kai, Kingston, and Aurora; and his brother, Jason Ward. Kenny also lovingly raised Tia, Tonya, Caleb, Mikah, and Aubrey, whom he considered his own and loved dearly.

In Scripture, the number seven represents completion and rest. Just as God rested on the seventh day, Kenny's journey-marked by perseverance, faith, and service-has reached its fulfillment.

"Well done, good and faithful servant… Enter into the joy of your Lord." Matthew 25:23

Kenny will be remembered for his faith, his recovery, and the love he shared so freely. His legacy lives on in the lives he touched and the family he loved.
