Kendell M. "K" Jones

On September 9, 1971, Kendell M. Jones was born in Hartford, CT to Carey Sanders of Hartford and his late mother G. Bernice B. Jones Womack. Kendell M. Jones (known to all as "K"), departed this life on Saturday, November 4, 2023. He was the oldest of 3 children.
Kendell was a loving father, grandfather, and fiancé. His priority was his grandchildren. Although he didn't spend much time with them all, he was always there for them when needed.
His parents raised Kendell in the city of Hartford. He was very outgoing and enjoyable to be around. He loved to cook and was great at it. He would always make a mess, LOL. If you knew him, you would understand. He could cook anything and would feed everybody. He was the life of the party at family barbecues and gatherings. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family. Kendell got along with everyone, could go anywhere, and fit right in. He was the first person in the city of Hartford to start a professional clothing business out of his car "K's Fashion". He would pull up on any block and pop his truck right before the club hours. Everyone was wearing Charlie Black. He had a food truck "MUCH TIME" and he went all the way to Georgia to get his sausages. "K" was respected and loved by the entire Hartford community and anyone he encountered became a friend. His love for everyone never failed and when you were mad at him it would not last long.
Kendell was an entrepreneur and a jack of all trades. He was able to maintain a stable living with his many businesses.
Kendell departed his life on November 4, 2023. He leaves to cherish his memories his father, Carey Sanders and fiancé, Salika Rashid. His late wife, Vickey Ford Jones. Two daughters and one son and a stepson, Victoria Jones, Kendell Jones, Quameshia Lee and Amir Miller. Five grandchildren, Kylon Jones, Tysjon Williams, Loyalty Jones, Na'Sani Thomas and Kendell Jones, Jr. Two siblings, Brent Saunders and Shawn Robinson and his Goddaughters, Aurmani Campos and Shytiria Franklin and Godsons, Patrick Johnson and Jerman Ward.
