Kendyl Jade Lindquist died unexpectedly May 5, 2025 in Murray Utah. She was 25 years old. The daughter of Casie McCallep and Jason Lindquist, Kendyl was born March 19, 2000 in Pontiac, Michigan.
In 2018, Kendyl graduated from Lakeland High School in White Lake. She went on to pursue a nursing degree in Ohio and began working at a memory care facility. The last couple of years she worked at Summit Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Center where she was a manager. Kendyl loved her job and her best friend Kimmie whom she met while working there.
When we say to know Kendyl is to love her, we really mean it. When Kendyl would walk into a room she would make everyone smile even if you were having a bad day. She was a special spirit with a laugh that would wrap your soul and her bright dimpled smile instantly made you happy. She was the best sister, aunt, fiancé and everyone's supportive cheerleader. You could catch Kendyl at the gym with her big beats headphones or drinking Dr. Pepper (her favorite) and showing off her brand new engagement ring. Kendyl loved her dog Sugar, family, friends and most of all her fiancé, Justin. Justin and Kendyl were engaged on their one year anniversary, April 16, 2025. She was looking forward to planning a garden wedding with tons of white flowers and greenery.
In her free time, Kendyl loved exploring the outdoors with Justin, always documenting their memories in photos. She also loved her casual walks with Sugar. Kendyl was sure to document her new found love of cooking, sending pictures of her beautiful meals. Even though Kendyl was an explorer, she did love the fancier things in life from purses and cars to clothes and shoes.
Kendyl is survived by her loving fiancé, Justin Strickland and their dog Sugar, her mother, Casie (Paul) McCallep, father, Jason (Mandy) Lindquist, sisters, Kayla (Wyatt) Ferreira, Kaitlyn Lindquist, Kennedi Card, Leah (Jacob) Seidel and Paige (Andres) Petras and brothers, Brad (Karlee) Petras, and Ryan (Kelly) Petras. She is also survived by her grandparents, Randy (Sandra) Lindquist, Barbara Findley, Leonard (Martha) McCallep, and Jerry (Mary Jo) Petras, nieces and nephews, Riley Jo Ferreira, Reese Ferreira, Lorelei Seidel, Emmett Taylor, Lincoln Patrona, Luca Patrona, Miabella Petras and Romy Petras as well as countless other family and friends.
Kendyl is proceeded in death by her great grandparents, Logan and Barbara Mitchell and Leonard and Irene Gorecki, grandpa, Avery Findley, uncle, Mark Mitchell and cousin, Lori Lindquist.
