Clarice J. Lindquist, 88, of Ankeny, died on August 16, 2025. A graveside service will take place at the Bondurant Cemetery on Wednesday, August 20, at 8:30 a.m. Visitation and services will follow the burial at Hope Lutheran Church, 3857 E. 42nd Street, Des Moines, of which Clarice was a longtime member. Visitation will be held from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m., and the funeral service will begin at 10:30 a.m.

Clarice was born in Des Moines on November 15, 1936, and graduated from Des Moines Technical School in 1955. She worked for many years at Perilli-Armstrong Tire Company and retired from Titan Tire in 1994.
Clarice enjoyed needlework, reading, and spending winters in Apache Junction, AZ. She was devoted to her family and friends.
Survivors include four children, Greg (Ilze) Lindquist, Mark (Denise) Lindquist, Karen Lindquist, and Kris (Roger) Woodward; grandchildren, Amy (Josh) Lehman, Amber (Chris) Behm, Tomas (Abby) Schultheis, Kristofer Schultheis, Jeni Lindquist, Amanda (Nick) Doyle, Jeremy (Melissa) Lindquist, Matthew (Jessica) Perry, and Benjamin (Kayci) Parish, Jessica (Dan) Auel, and Joscelyn (Konnor) Trevallion; and sixteen great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles; parents, Ted and Charlotte Carlson; and sister, Dorothy Gardner.
Memorial contributions may be directed to Hope Lutheran Church or the American Cancer Society.
