Kenia Lopez

Kenia Lopez, 24, of Carthage, Missouri, passed away Thursday, June 13, 2024. Kenia was born on April 21, 2000, in Joplin, Missouri, to Clara Luz Lopez. Kenia was a lifetime Carthage resident and a graduate of Carthage High School. She was an active member of the St. Peter's Catholic Church in Joplin; she loved her Catholic faith. She was a beautiful girl with a humble heart. She was fun, loving, goofy, God fearing, kind, selfless, strong, sassy, and so much more. She was the most amazing mother, wife, daughter, friend, sister, and human being. Kenia took over the care of her siblings after her mom passed away, without hesitation and provided them with so much love. Besides her siblings, Kenia had two babies of her own, Javier and Mariana. They were the biggest joy and blessings of her life. She will be missed dearly by everyone whose lives she touched.
She is survived by one son, Javier Macias; one daughter, Mariana Macias; one brother, Jason Lopez; and four sisters, Tracey DeLeon Lopez, Chelsea DeLeon Lopez, Freida DeLeon Lopez, and Anayensi DeLeon Lopez.
