Kenneth Ackerley a lifelong resident of the area died suddenly on November 7, 2023 at home. He was 66.
The son of Florence Kurtz Potter and the late Medwin Ackerley, he was born on May 23, 1957 in Port Jervis, NY.
In addition to his father Ken was predeceased in life by his step father Harvey Potter and son Robert James Ackerley.
He is survived by his mother Florence Kurtz Potter. Dear husband of Kathy Ackerley. Father of Kenneth Ackerley Jr his wife Christine, Raven Burbridge her husband Benjamin, Christopher Ackerley, Ayla Ackerley, Vada Ackerley and Troy Ackerley with his wife Amanda. Stepfather of Rachel Eagle and Bert Eagle. Grandfather of Brittany & Kiersten Gervais, Benjamin Blue Burbridge, Bobby Ackerley, Jade Banach, Tianna Ackerley, Kenneth Ackerley III, Brianna Ackerley, Jayda Ackerley, Summer Ackerley, Sheyanne Ackerley, Paige Ackerley, Jurney, Soldier, Rarity, Ossian, and Rowan. Great-grandfather of Blaire, Ezai, Octavia, Ophelia, Eloise and Landon. Brother of Bob Ackerley (Laura) and step brother of Georganna Potter. Uncle of Melissa Diaz her husband Felix. Dear friend of Miss Jeanne Pecoraro.
Services are private and at the convenience of the family. Cremation MacLennan Hall Crematorium.
