Kenneth Lee Arrowsmith, 78, of Sullivan, MO, affectionately known as Kenny, passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his family on Thursday, July 17, 2025, in Sullivan. Born on March 12, 1947, in Berryville, AR, to Harold and Ruth (Crow) Arrowsmith, Kenny grew up in Sullivan, where he laid down roots that would last a lifetime. A proud graduate of Sullivan High School in 1964, he was well-known in the community for both his kindness and selfless nature.

Kenny's early career began at Chrysler Corp. a role he briefly left to serve his country in the US Air Force; he served the nation with honor and dedication and was honorably discharge in 1972. Upon his discharge, he returned to the embrace of his hometown and continued his work with Chrysler until his well-deserved retirement in 1995.

On December 4, 1970, Kenny united in marriage with Lisa Soithong. Their unique bond of friendship and mutual respect remained strong throughout their lives. Kenny's commitment to his faith was clear to all who knew him. As a faithful member of the Faith Assembly of God Church in Sullivan, he found joy in teaching Sunday School and guiding young minds through the Royal Rangers program. His unwavering faith in the Lord was the cornerstone of his existence, and he seized every opportunity to share the love of Jesus with those around him.

Kenny had a range of interests throughout his life. He had a passion for classic cars, often seen cruising in his cherished vehicles or spending hours meticulously working on them. Kenny's most appreciated pastimes were enjoying a well-made pie. His adventurous spirit led him to enjoy the great outdoors, whether it was camping under the stars, hiking through the woods, or canoeing down a serene river, He also loved to photograph nature and capturing moments throughout his life. A fan of old westerns, he admired the rugged charm of Clint Eastwood and John Wayne, often joking that he wished he could have been a cowboy in another life.

He placed his family primarily, cherishing every moment spent with them. His selflessness was unmatched; Kenny was always lending a helping hand when needed. His presence in the community was a beacon of kindness and servitude, embodying the traits of a truly Godly man.

Those who knew Kenny will remember him as a man of great faith, kindness, and generosity. His servant's heart and the love he shared will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of crossing his path. Kenny will be remembered by individuals whose lives he affected.
